Les MoujiksL'Art de vivre
The art of survival keeps crowding out the art of living. That is exactly why art de vivre has become a form of inner resistance.

Les Moujiks · L'Art de vivre · Aleksey Nilov
The world changes by the minute, and we change with it. Art de vivre is an underrated genre of existence — one in which self-sufficiency, taste and attention to detail become the ground you stand on.
This book is about aesthetics as support and beauty as a way of holding firm: making a home and a life, reading antiques and culture, building a library and a wardrobe, caring for yourself and the rooms you live in, shaping an olfactory world, receiving guests, and finding joy in the rituals of the ordinary.
A richly illustrated edition in which I open the doors to my own world — rare finds, personal histories, recipes, observations, and thoughts on living beautifully in spite of the circumstances.

The editor
Fifteen years in media, from reporter to the masthead of L'Officiel Hommes — the fashion magazine for educated men — and editorial director of Babylon Publishing House, where the Ukrainian editions of L'Officiel are made.
I make magazines meant to be relevant and timeless at once: the canons of classical beauty, intellect, the art of living. Multi-themed almanacs, the heroes and authors worth printing, the advertising concepts for the houses that define the luxury segment in Ukraine.
A love for the table produced Bureau Gourmet — a television programme on Menu TV, cooking classes, dinner parties, cookbooks. Over 5,000 students have taken my course at the Free School of Journalism. In Ukraine I work as ambassador for the maisons I write about.
